Kids Fitness

Kids Corner

Groovy 2’s: (age 2) Movement to music from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and today’s kids hits. Kids will be learning through warm up, mimic my moves, sequence of events, free dance, and waiting for my turn. This class will have them plenty tired for naptime!!

Ballerina Beauties: (Ages: 3-4 & 4-5) Kids will dance and learn ballet terminology, to some of the best fairytale songs of all time, through ballet movement and storytelling. End of session performance.

Musical Theater- (Ages: 6yrs - 10yrs) There’s no business like show business? Let’s set the stage! Learn the best of Broadway, voice, movement and prep for a performance. There will be a show at the end of each session.

Kids in motion (Ages: 4yrs to 9 yrs)

Drop off the kids at Hill Country Fitness for a solid hour of fun and games BOOT CAMP STYLE as you shop the Galleria. This “mini” boot camp class taught by Abby will include cardio, stretching, yoga, games, and storytelling.

Creative Art (Ages: 2yrs - Up) Each month we study a new artist! Monet, Picasso, Warhil, Degas and Cezanne to name a few. We paint, draw, read about the artist and do craft and art projects relating to the artist or theme of the month.

Kids Cardio Fit & Fun: (age 3-5)(6-10) Kids will be learning choreography to top 40 kids hits, music and movement games, face painting, costume/prop art creations, karaoke, tattoo time and more!

Drop and Shop: (age 2-10) Drop the kids off on Fridays anytime between 2-5:30 and take “me time” for yourself and get some things done! Kids will be exploring dance, music, arts and crafts, movement games, limbo, hula hoops, face painting and more!

Hip-Hop (girls 7-10):  Learn the latest moves from a professional Hip-Hop dancer and instructor of over seven years. Original mixes of the hottest music; choreography and attitude make this a funky-fresh favorite!

   

Mind and Body Classes

Zumba – An easy to learn, Latin-inspired, cardio-dance aerobic workout. Zumba incorporates international music and dance movements, which create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system.

 

Expressive Soul Movement for Women - Expressive Soul is a barefooted, nonverbal movement experience meant to support authentic expression and transformation.  The music is chosen with the intention of supporting personal connection to your soul.

Tai Chi- Tai Chi is an ancient martial art based exercise that is a series of flowing movements. It is a moving meditation that can strengthen legs, improve coordination, body awareness, and balance, and increase circulation. Tai chi helps reduce stress, quiet the mind and increase concentration.

Pilates Classes

Pilates - Pilates, originally created to rehabilitate dancers’ injuries, is a perfect complement to your Yoga practice. Pilates gym classes develop core strength and body alignment. Through the art of breathing techniques and stabilizing the core, Pilates will strengthen your body and help you achieve balance and poise.

Yoga Pilates Fusion – This mat class is a fusion of yoga and modern Pilates techniques. The exercises mix both disciplines to develop core strength, help tone muscles, increase flexibility and reduce stress.
